Gymshark's facility in Mauritius had a large amount of unsold and excess stock that needed to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. The brand was looking for a reliable and efficient recycling partner to handle the collection and transportation of the textile waste.

Bright Secure Recycling was able to provide a comprehensive solution for Gymshark, by collecting the stock from the Mauritius facility and transporting it to the UK for recycling. Our team worked closely with Gymshark to ensure that the process was as seamless and efficient as possible.

Through our partnership with Gymshark, we were able to recycle over 50,000 units of textile waste. This not only helped Gymshark to dispose of their excess stock in an environmentally friendly way, but it also prevented the waste from ending up in landfills. The partnership also helped to support the circular economy by diverting textile waste from landfills and giving it a second life.

The Customer Challenge
Boots presented us with a unique challenge - They were looking for a trustworthy & secure recycler who would be able to collect and destroy over 300 Metal display units from Boots Option retail stores all over the country - from John O Groats to Lands End!
Boots had made us aware they were struggling to find a recycler who could commit to 270 individual collections.
We were delighted to inform Boots that this would be no problem for Bright Secure Recycling and we could begin collecting these units at a moments notice.
Bright Secure Recyclings Solution
Bright Secure Recycling provided a complete solution for Boots. Our work began with a complete logistics plan and a rota of the entire country for each collection with a specific date and time for all 300 display units. Not only did this allow Boots the time they needed to prepare each unit for collection but this also gave Bright the ability to plan the most eco-friendly route around the county allowing us to minimize our carbon footprint at every opportunity.
Once we had collected each display unit we were able to submit them into our 'Zero Landfill' recycling process. Each unit was dismantled, striped and granulated. This granulate was then reintroduced into our manufacturing process and helped create over 15,000 new market products.
